The Moving Crew is the culmination of the shared vision of owners and experienced California movers Travis Sylvia, Garrett Turner, and Sam Cathcart, who bring years of experience together to form a new kind of moving company: one that is personal, professional, accountable, and focused on achieving success by doing great moves and being active contributors to our community.

Moving Crew founder, Andy Zuker was born and raised in Michigan but moved to the Sacramento region in July of 2006 and quickly felt at home with the natural beauty and the culture of Northern California.
Several times throughout our history, the Moving crew has offered ownership to staff who’s hard work and great attitudes were contributing greatly to our success and client satisfaction. Auburn native and outstanding mover Travis Sylvia joined the ranks in spring of 2013. In January of 2021, longtime movers Garrett Turner and Sam Cathcart. In addition to the many skills and talents these guys bring to the table, many other aspects of our operations felt the benefit of more sharp minds and more strong hands.
In the summer of 2021, founder Andy Zuker decided to pass the torch for good and left the company to go back to school.
We have the most dedicated and accountable team out there because we all have a great stake in the success of every move. We want to be known as the best, most trustworthy California movers around.
The owners and crew members at The Moving Crew have proudly volunteered their time and services to organizations such as the Sacramento Food for Families Program, the Placer ASPCA, the Boys and Girls club of Auburn, local chambers, schools, churches, and more. Many of our owners/movers are musicians who perform throughout the region and are active members of the Sacramento music community.
